Keep It Simple
Let’s talk about simple solutions. I’m sure you’re familiar with Ockham’s Razor, which is a principle attributed to the 14th century logician and Franciscan friar William of Ockham. The principle states that “entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily,” or put in more, ah… simple terms… “If you have two equally likely solutions to a problem, choose the simplest.”
I like to say the simple solution is the elegant solution. It’s amazing how convoluted we can end up making our businesses. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs-to-be create simple solutions around starting their businesses. I have also helped entrepreneurs who have been in business for years re-work and simplify their business to work for them rather than against them. Sometimes it’s about creating systems for better workflow. Sometimes it’s about throwing out systems. Sometimes it’s about working on mindset and clearing the mind clutter. Sometimes it’s about doing less, not more. Sometimes it’s about doing more, not less…you get the idea.
So, where in your business have “things” gotten out of hand? Can you immediately identify that one issue that’s the sore point in your business that you just know needs to be taken care of so that your business can finally 1) take off; 2) make a profit; 3) become the business of your dreams?
If you’re needing guidance around identifying and implementing simple solutions to make your business work for you rather than against you, I invite you to book a Discovery Session with me. I’d love to help you create elegant solutions for your biz!
